My basic desire in creating pottery is to blend comfortable elegance with a flair for fun, contemporary styling. My work is accented with whimsical slip decoration which adds visual and textural interest. I strive to maintain an animated quality in my work which alludes to movement - an integral part of working on the potter's wheel.

The earth tone slip colors are sealed in a lead free glaze resulting in pots which are perfect for everyday use. I fully intend for my work to be used with enjoyment, and see this as the culmination of the making process.
